I tested 6 ways to send map data to an LLM.

Raw GeoJSON: 39,000 tokens
Raycast: 57 tokens

Same spatial reasoning accuracy. 700x compression.

The trick: AI can't do coordinate math. Convert geometry to "what's north of me, 25m away" and it nails every question.
