اليوم قال لي أحد المعلمين الوافدين بعد قرار إنهاء خدماتهم:
" علينا قروض والتزامات للبنوك، بعضنا عليه عشرة آلاف وبعضنا عشرون ألفاً ولم نسدد إلا جزءاً منها.. ماذا نفعل الآن؟ وكيف نعيش بلا راتب؟ وهل يجوز أن نسافر من غير سداد لأننا عاجزون؟ ".

سؤال مؤلم يكشف جانباً من معاناة هؤلاء لم يُلتفت إليه

هؤلاء معلمون خدموا الكويت وأبناءها سنوات طويلة وحملوا رسالة التعليم ولهم أسر والتزامات وديون بُنيت على استقرارهم الوظيفي

نتمنى أن تُراعى هذه الظروف وأن توضع حلول تحقق رغبة الدولة في معالجة أوضاع الوظائف وتحفظ الحقوق وتقدّر سنوات الخدمة فالوفاء لمن خدم الكويت أمرٌ لا ينبغي أن نتخلى عنه
