has she mentioned lately how much she adores her ??
well , she's glad to be of any service she can be . even if it's just to be an extra body .
a bit of fresh air . being condemned to the inside of her bedchambers has nearly driven to insanity .
( her lips are sealed . )
@wasthejust there's a faint smile at the letter that grows stronger at the image in her mind's eye of him being bitten while collecting the flowers for her .
the note is tucked in her drawer , and the flowers left on her bed , before she's heading downstairs to find him .
nor would she recommend he try .
her hand rests on his arm , weary smile in unspoken thanks as she takes her seat and settles down before her legs give out .
for now , yes .. but tomorrow is another story . agreed ?
❛ just some toast , i think . at least for now . ❜
He cannot argue that.
Ah, finally. He springs up from his seat of pins and needles to pull her chair back, as if the mere notion of doing so herself could shatter her like a porcelain doll. She’ll have to give him *this … at least.
❝Good morning, sister. Food with your tea?❞
@wasmagnificent — eats , contemplating just what change might have overcome their younger brother that could be explained .
❛ i did scold him for worrying my nerves so soon after everything . ❜ susan remarks after a few minutes and a few more bites of toast .
❛ perhaps guilt —
it comes with having peter and edmund for brothers . one simply either has patience or perishes .
it can be tricky , but it is worth it ; she thinks . to see the fruition of all her hard work .
