Heard it’s unlikely Mitchell Robinson will be back with Knicks next season. He’s longest tenured Knick but also an unrestricted free agent. Owner James Dolan said he’s unwilling to pay into second apron so running it back with bench is not feasible.
@GetMe27 If you simply swapped LaMelo and Brunson, the Knicks would be just as good. As one of the best passers in the league and an elite high volume shooter, he would very capably take advantage of a spacing 5 as well as any lead guard. I don't understand the basis for this perspective.

genuinely top 3 dumbest accounts on here lol what on Gods green earth made you think you deserved to have an opinion on team building and asset management? seriously what made you think your opinion meant anything?
I am aware the Knicks won the Championship.
I am very happy.
I also want them to continue to win by adding assets and players, especially if there is a good chance they lose key guys.
Not complicated.
Hopefully their moves are a sign they have a deal with Mitch (and Landry?)
he became the best screen navigator on the team once we drafted him, amazing length/wingspan, kd-esque strides/movement coming off picks, great shooter with ball handling. what more do you want, knicks nation?
to any knicks fans mad we didnt use a first...consider demon pacome our pick for this year. easily woulda went in the teens if he was in the draft this year, some of the best tools ive ever seen in a prospect
Phoenix sent No. 47 among the three second-rounders to New York, sources said. So the Knicks now add that 47th pick to Nos. 31 and 55 on Wednesday night. The champion Knicks are now on the clock -- and, per sources, they have already received offers of future draft assets for No. 31 and intend to move the pick prior to the start of night two of the Draft.
Just in: Minnesota is sending Julius Randle and the No. 28 pick in the NBA Draft to the Brooklyn Nets in a three-team trade that sends Nic Claxton to the Chicago Bulls, sources tell ESPN. The Timberwolves will acquire Brooklyn’s No. 33 pick for Randle and No. 28.
I'm being so serious when I say this
The Diawara hype is crazy overblown and it's built through highlights and need for engagement. He has much to work on heading into the 2nd year
Draymond clarifies his comments regarding the Spurs walking off the court without shaking hands
“You can't have front-runner behavior, it does not win in this league and running off the court after you lose in a series is front-runner behavior, and here's why it's front-runner behavior and who gives a f**k about sportsmanship, I don't care about sportsmanship because if you won and those guys that lost tried to shake your hand, you gonna stand there and shake that hand proudly.”
