Over 2.8 million trees on forest land were approved for felling or recorded as felled in less than three years, a Down To Earth analysis of official records has found.

Between July 2023 and May 2026, the environment ministry’s Advisory Committee considered 288 unique forest diversion proposals. Of those 242 were accepted.

हर्ष राज की हत्या दिन दहाड़े कॉलेज में कर दी गई। क्या कॉलेज प्रशासन मूक बधीर होकर तमाशा देख रहे थे। बीएन कॉलेज के प्राचार्य, प्रोफेसर उस वक्त कहां थे? जब उनके कैंपस में छात्र की बेरहमी से हत्या कर दी गई। मात्र कुछ मिनट की दूरी पर पुलिस थाना, सरकारी विभाग के अनेकों कार्यलय हैं ।
