Kilchoman’s Machir Bay is day 23 of #WhiskyAdvent. Smoky seaside, vanilla, apple into sea salt, peat, and a cinnamon cookie. It finishes with seaside and earth. Absolutely love it!

#WhiskyAdvent Day 21 is @RaasayWhisky Single Malt. Light peat, briny lemon, soot, red berries into malt, salty peat, oak spices, honey, sour cranberries. Tingly spices fade to sweet, salty, earthy notes. Tremendous!

Day 20 of #WhiskyAdvent is Inchfad 13yo by @BoutiqueyWhisky. Sour, peat, fruity into cheese, lemon, honey, vanilla wafer. Bit oily finish w/ spicy heat, honey. Water opens up the certainly unique character here.

Day 19 of #WhiskyAdvent is the terrific Millstone 9 Year Old Single Grain Whisky. Honey, toffee, iced tea into apple cider, ginger, orange peel, dill. Drying finish of oak, spices, fruits. A beauty of a dram!

Day 18 of #WhiskyAdvent is Elements Sherry Cask by M&H. Fresh lemon, red berries, sweetness, oak into tingly/zesty notes w/ dark chocolate. Spices, oak linger w/ tobacco later in finish. This whisky slaps.

On #WhiskyAdvent Day 17 it’s @JackDaniels_US Single Barrel Select. Caramel, sweet corn, oak on the nose. Palate adds banana chips. Charred oak and brown sugar to finish. Looking for more complexity but enjoyable.

Day 16 of #WhiskyAdvent is @Glendronach 12 Year. Sweet notes, Raisin Bran cereal into spices, ginger, red berries, and some nutty notes. It finishes with a mixture of nutty and woody notes and drying sherry.
