Top 8 BCF Orlando Nationals w/ Bonney

Felt like I had the craziest week, going from waitlisted LCQ to bubbling in Day 1 (31st) to favorable Day 2 top cut match-ups.

LCQ: 8-1 (8th)
Day 1: 7-2 (31st)
Day 2: Top 8

Deck list (copied @Dobogeee's list, sad I didn't get to meet him)

@Vampyrgaming My goat choas

Went the quickest x-2 rd2 in the online TC today with Bonney, so I dropped and played a store TC instead

1st @ Card Quest Store TC with GP Luffy (44 ppl)

1. Lim
2. BB
3. Lucci 🎲
4. Shanks
5. Zoro
6. GP Luffy 🎲

This deck is kinda good... might be better than Bonney 😬😬

[kwak @watanukishark]

@JustZaeGaming Raizo is surprisingly very strong, helps build advantage and is a pseudo blocker. At worst a 1k counter

Urouge is okay, it feels good playing on 4 don or cav+urouge on 7.

[kwak @watanukishark]

Won a 64 player store regional with mids deck Bonney

R1 Zooro 🎲
R2 Belo Betty
R3 Pluffy 🎲
R4 Zooro 🎲
R5 Reiju 🎲
R6 Doffy

Lucky matchups again and high rolled a lot of games (both zoro's lowrolled hard)

Already had my invite but an extra Zoro is niceee

[kwak @watanukishark]

@DylanZayas2022 Yeah one of the best 5 drops rn, you kinda always wanna see it early. Hard to add the 4th copy because I don't like being bricked up but it could be worth

[kwak @watanukishark]

@raymnlee @wimmiebear it's not worth it, just play red go face

[kwak @watanukishark]

finally won a locals in who knows how long

36 player @ gaming universe / bonney 1 trick

R1 carrot
R2 rp luffy
R3 usopp
R4 bb
R5 g uta

bonney feels mid 😐... carried by matchup rng

or maybe it was the custom bonney lead (shout-out @wimmiebear!)

or maybe its Hody Jones my goat

[kwak @watanukishark]

@iMrFunnyGuy @wimmiebear Still experimenting but most op10 bonney lists are the same 45ish cards lol

[kwak @watanukishark]

@wimmiebear TY! Op10 post ban meta changes every week here 🙃

And so many people complimented the card! I'm glad it came in time

[kwak @watanukishark]

@iMrFunnyGuy @wimmiebear Hope they low-roll one way or another. You'll never win if they see everything 🫠. In my game they missed finger pistol on curve and it kinda snowballed from there

[kwak @watanukishark]

@grayrose_tcg @wimmiebear 🫡🫡 glad to see more bonney players

[kwak @watanukishark]

@Randenaris ggs was a pleasure playing with you!

@DragoATX i'm not much of a deck builder so i'll probably just copy a successful list and tweak some numbers around 😅.

also i've done 0 testing for op10 (just watched a couple gameplay vids) so no idea if Bonney will still be viable... gonna have to wait and pray for the banlist

[kwak @watanukishark]

wish I got to explore more of the event but was stuck in the tourney building all of both days LOL. hopefully the next events are organized a bit better cuz I didnt even have time to step into the general building

Thank you to everyone who came up and said hi!

Joon goonz on top
