@LCB_Martin It was obvious that its gesture called for the end of the conversation - and Narcissus was hardly one to push things any further.
"Sorry..." he muttered as if it was his fault, and maybe somehow it was. "You'll see him soon..." And on these words, he left the room.
@LCB_Martin and he couldn't put a word on how it felt.
"I wanna make him happy too," he muttered, almost absentmindedly. "I just... sometimes I don't know if I really can."
@LCB_Martin He can't help but let a small smile bloom at the sentiment that he brought 'nothing but joy' into someone's life... even if he knew it wasn't really *him* he was talking about. Him, the other Narcissus, that Martin conflated them in his words
@LCB_Martin Kill him?
Narcissus should be shocked, horrified even, that a murder plan is being confessed right in front of him - but he's not.
He just... wonders how one could kill a man they once loved.
"Does this mean you could kill the other me, if you no longer loved him?"
@LCB_Martin calling him 'Elias' little lightning rod'. There were so many things he didn't understand... But most importantly, he wasn't sure why something in him ached at being told Martin was still in love with that Jon.
"Were you? Also in love with him?"
@LCB_Martin Was Martin's inherent nature monstruous? Surely, it had to be something he couldn't help. 'He won't hurt you'. But Narcissus wasn't scared of being hurt.
"I won't... I won't be scared of him."
Jon? That name again. It had mentioned that person in his vision,
@LCB_Martin "...It's okay if he doesn’t trust me."
Maybe it's for the better. Staying around Narcissus means he'd risk getting observed, just like this Martin had just gotten spied on.
"But I won't leave- not if I can help it..."
@LCB_Martin in other's lives. There's no reason for them to speak of their past with him.
"...I don't know," he admits. "I don't know any of these things. But... if he didn't tell me, there's a reason, right...?"
@LCB_Martin How well does Narcissus know Martin? He finds himself at a loss, staring down at who is both a stranger and not. The Note has never expected Martin to tell him all those things – the fog, who he was before Limbus... after all, he knows himself to be merely a fleeting presence
@LCB_Martin ...it very much sounded like it mattered to him, but Narcissus didn't have the heart to point it out, instead committing the name to memory. Martin – the one in the recording, sounded scared of that person.
"...Did Martin bring you here on purpose?"
