@Humanitydh Obviously a stupid ragebait but for the sake of anyone else reading this - meta is meta because it's better, even if by a tiny margin. If you have a choice between 50% or 51% chance to time the key (and taking the later costs you nothing) it's correct to take it 100% of the time.

2) link your route before the key

@michelchatz @jdotb It is very much a valid point, not only for the top teams. This is what eventually everyone would start doing because there is no downside to it - you can always just start again and if it works out it almost guarantees you time the key. It is still definitely worth it though.
