Every wrestling argument is "I like this guy better than that other guy and therefore the guy I like is better than that other guy and youre a fucking moron if you disagree"
@TeaKaGee@elliottswrstlin The wwe had its weakest roster in 95-96. So weak they hired a big fat stinking bully who couldn't work and got dog walked by a road agent.
My claim is that Vader could not adapt to the wwf style in 1996-98. His failure to adapt is the reason for his failure in the company.
@TeaKaGee@elliottswrstlin Has nothing to do with wwf and his abject failure there despite a huge push and weak roster. Bro shit the bed because he couldn't work a professional style. He was an amateur who got away with bullying until orndorff slimed Jim out. And he stink too.
@HallowIdiot@ovppodcast He got booed as face maivia then cheered as heel nation rock and corporate rock. Then he got booed vs Austin as a baby face in 01 and vs Hogan in 02. Then he got cheered as heel Hollywood rock. Later he was booed vs Cena, again as a babyface.
@TeaKaGee@elliottswrstlin Vader style was stiff. Wwf style was not. Bret and Shawn didn't wanna work with him cuz he roughed them up. He couldn't work their style and he failed as a result. Sorry if this offends.
@CalHeikkila@CaffeinatedDG@elliottswrstlin Yep Flair complained too. Vader was stiff. Idiot fans like that but there's no art to it. He was sloppy and couldn't cut it in the majors.
@elliottswrstlin You can not like the wwf style but it's indisputable that Vader couldn't adapt to it. He needed to work stiff. Flair, Bret, Shawn all said he roughed them up. He couldn't adapt to wwe style and somehow that's everyone else's fault? Nah.
@PrinceofS2@elliottswrstlin Huh? "Guys work hurt so let the guy that hurts everyone work with them." Ridiculous. Bret and Shawn both refused to work Vader because he was shitty and stiff. That shit didn't fly in wwf and he simply couldn't adapt to that style.
@DMM2099@ovppodcast Yea diesel punching luger here is a historically overlooked detail. Both of the turning heel and joining camp Cornette woulda been bonkers.
