Heโs a hopeless romantic and canโt help but think things will improve?
And that actually sounds like it could be rather therapeutic. Yes. Heโd like that.
he never learns, does he ? .. alright, alright. no more sulking, time for soaking !
if he's up for it, they've been meaning to bask in some bubbles, too.
pff. they're not /that/ awful .. they can spare some decency ! every now and again ..
.. minus the ruffled exterior, he looks like he needs it. for the soul, and all. is he alright โ ?
โItโs on the way.โ He laughed almost sheepishly and waved a hand towards a bower of trees that arched towards each other.
Beyond it, was a clearing filled with fireflies, ethereal looking flowers that swayed with a breeze and a sky of northern lights.
Her brows rose, but she nodded, "Oh absolutely. Was this not your little hiding spot already?"
She figured they were sort of out in the open but this had felt like a private place already.
โYou care about listening to my rambles?โ He paused and let a small huff of a laugh leave him.
โA refreshing idea.โ He mused and motioned for her to follow him and the bottle of whine.
โShould we find ourself to my little hiding spot?โ
"The stars don't care..." She found herself saying. Had she had this thought in her past life? It felt more of a comfort than the words might first seem. "I care..."
She took the goblet from him, fingers brushing across his. "I like your 'prattling on'."
โCome now, you should know me by now.โ He chided, freeing the cork from the bottle and balancing the goblet between his fingers as he poured some wine into it.
โIโm a bit of a solo act. That and at least I know the stars donโt bore themselves with my ramblings.โ
Kyere gave him a pleased little hum, nodding as he offered.
"Please, I'd love some."
She crossed her legs, stretched out in front of her, swaying them a little.
"Why the clandestine meeting with the stars?"
If he wasnโt already bashful heโd probably be more pink cheeked than he already was.
โYou know, I really shouldnโt be that surprised that youโre so elegant with your words.โ He busied himself for a moment, finding an abandoned goblet not too far away.
โShall we, though?โ
"Flatter yourself all you like, that's the intent." She grinned softly.
She nodded at his offer. "Wine, the stars, fine company, what more can a gal ask for?"
โOh.โ The wizard offered a shy smile and a chuckle. โIโm rather flattered that you were watching me long enough to see me slip away.โ
He paused, struggling to find his words.
โWine? That is to sayโฆ would you like some?โ
She gave him a fond smile. Gods he really was something.
She hummed softly, sitting up a little, "Well, I was looking for you first, then saw you make your escape."
