@mommy_renjun Of course it would have. It wouldn’t be as big but why wouldn’t it survive? I’m sure there’s homegrown music industry in your country as well, and don’t they continue despite the lack of international fans?
My recent #Shampoo haul from Mercari. A lot of these would have been really cheap in Japan but c’est la vie. Just happy to get them.
I usually don’t like Kodachi that much but she was so pretty in this illustration that I had to get it.

@cjjscrawfo58137@HiryuBlastfield@maoninek Well Shampoo is my favorite by far, but I don’t think animeAkane and mangaAkane are similar either. Anime Akane is infinitely annoying while manga Akane is pretty sweet.
Maybe it’s because while I love Shampoo, I don’t ship Ransham. I don’t really mind Rankane so it grates less.
@Mayandeval@t_onuf Funny how supposedly Japan uses kanji to learn history, but don’t teach their own people about the terrible war crimes they committed 😂😂😂
@CoreyWriting Note that a Korean did not write that, lol. It seems like non-Koreans are the authority in everything Korean.
Koreans all know Kpop, especially the early ones, were heavily influneced by American music.
@Although2125125@yeowotron@alinemaqui It happens often enough in Korea. I know a few couples who eventually had kids or divorced because one side started to want kids.
@Although2125125@alinemaqui People can change their minds. Men in particular are famous for wanting kids near middle age even if they were childfree earlier, or if they were going along with what the girl wanted, it’s no longer possible to do so at some point.
It’s a sad situation but entirely realistic.
