Today I removed a student from class because of his choices. Instead of fussing at him, I allowed him to cry, tell me the real issue he was facing, and I listened. Sometimes children aren’t being defiant because they are bad. They deal with life too.

New student registration is now open for students in grades kindergarten through 12th who will attend school in GCSS for the first time next school year. Students who are currently enrolled do not need to register.
