Yesterday’s second day of the @OxfordConted @ContEdResearch was also excellent - in particular several very interesting papers on the 19th novel - the tragic heroine, evangelical novels and Willie Collin’s ‘Basil’.

The next exhibition at @britishlibrary will be Medieval Women: In Their Own Words (October 25th) & YES we will have a beautiful book to accompany it.
This was the first play of our Stratford bank holiday marathon of plays. Beautiful and stylish production, extremely witty. Go and see it. If it transfers to the West End I will see it again!
