Student volunteers from UGA helped to weed the pollinator garden and clean up the trail at Stroud Elementary School for Dawg Day of Service. Read more about what the students accomplished, and the importance of the Stroud project:

Overall, the volunteers said they noticed a difference in the appearance of the trail after the day of service. There will be another opportunity for volunteers to help at Stroud for MLK Day of Service in January.

On Saturday, Aug. 25, about 40 #UGA student volunteers came out to Stroud Elementary for Dawg Day of Service.

The garden and trail at Stroud serve as educational resources allowing the elementary students to learn more about watersheds, native and invasive plants, ecosystems + food webs.
