Hello! It's been a bit since I last updated, but with quote bots thankfully surviving the purge, I wanted to return & update much more regularly again. I'm currently in the process of adding many new quotes from all the little things I love! I hope you all continue to enjoy 💙
But, there was one thing that was concrete. Even if everything was different now, there was still one thing that—from the very moment it all started—had never changed. Gojo knelt down, meeting Geto’s eyes as he sat there.
“…Suguru.”
“…?”
She held my hand! She knew that if she let go of my hand, I would never return. That I might never return to anybody. She didn’t take up all of my pain. She didn’t fill in all the brokenness. But those weren’t important. The most important thing… was that she stayed with me.
EDWARD: Who—who are you? What is this place?
LUP: Are you the one who’s been hurting my brother out there?
EDWARD: Am I—where are we?
GRIFFIN: And Lup grits her teeth and says,
LUP: I’m gonna fucking kill you now.
“You might be the only person left on earth who thinks me decent.”
Between us, I feel his knuckles brush mine. Perhaps it’s by chance, but it feels more like a question, and when I spread my fingers in answer, his hand slides into mine.
“Then everyone else doesn’t know you.”

SASUKE: Why is it, Naruto…? Why is it that you go to this extent for me…?
NARUTO: Because this is the first time I’ve ever had a bond like this! That’s why I’ll do anything I can to stop you.
DOLL-ASUKA: Are you lonely? Are you alone?
ASUKA: No! Stay away from me! I'm going to live by my own!
DOLL-ASUKA: But do you love me?
ASUKA: I won't rely on anyone!
DOLL-ASUKA: But do you really love me?
ASUKA: I can live by my own!
DOLL-ASUKA: But you're lying.
I think you’re telling this story to her as you walk into the house, and the camera just kind of zooms out as we watch you walk through the yard towards the door reciting this story, and we see you one last time as… Magnus rushes in.
‘Tell me where it hurts,’ she’d say. ’Stop howling. Just calm down and show me where.’
But some people can’t tell where it hurts. They can’t calm down. They can’t ever stop howling.
“Hijo de mi corazón, I’ll tell you a secret. You help me bear it. You help me bear all my losses. You, Ari.”
“Don’t say that, Mom. I’ll only disappoint you.”
“No, amor. Not ever.”
I am always falling in love in kitchens. Or rather, I suppose, I’m always realizing I’m in love in kitchens; that the kind of love I love to fall into is the kind of love that’s most at home in the kitchen; a domestic kind of love; an intimate, easy, buttery kind of love.
