When the country saw the footage, the police said they had NO CONCERNS. Then asked everyone to please STOP SHARING it.

The police watched a young lad get beaten to the GROUND. Then they arrested HIM.

Cody Harper, 20. Set on by a group in the street, in front of officers. They grabbed the VICTIM, let the men who did it walk away, and now HE'S the one going to court on JULY 23.

He got up off the floor, someone grabbed him from behind, and he swung, still terrified, thinking it was one of them coming back. It was the OFFICER.

That's the assault charge. That's the whole reason they're dragging him to court. A beaten lad flinching at the wrong person, because the police went for the victim instead of the men who put him down.

Those men strolled off. Weeks later, NOT ONE has been arrested. The police say they're only NOW trying to work out who they are. They found time to charge the lad who got beaten. They CAN'T FIND the men who beat him.

Listen to how they spoke to him. On camera, an officer snarls at this lad, fresh off the pavement, you're going to walk to the car, you F***ING DICK.

Try that in the street yourself and see how fast you're nicked. A member of the public gets ARRESTED for those words. An officer says them to a beaten boy, and the force calls it REASONABLE AND PROPORTIONATE.

They looked at their own footage and said NO CONCERNS. Nothing to see. Then, same breath, asked everyone to please STOP SHARING the video.

It clears us, they said. Also, take it down.

They even claimed, officially, that the officer was PUNCHED. X's own readers pinned the correction right under it. A young man, thrown to the floor, still defending himself. The public fact-checking the police on the police's own post.

This feels familiar to me. The same instinct that handcuffed HENRY NOWAK as he lay dying, telling them over and over he'd been stabbed. The victim treated as the problem. EVERY SINGLE TIME.

Nobody's been to trial. Cody's owed his day in court like anyone. Say that plainly.

But watch it, and answer one thing.

If he'd been anyone else, would HE be the one with a court date.

Or would it be the men who put him on the ground.

They said this is common practice and they will continue to arrest and punish white victims for offending migrants!
