'UTTERLY MISMANAGED'
Coastal Carolina head coach Kevin Schnall lets loose on how he felt the Tallahassee Regional was handled Saturday afternoon & night.

#TeamRubio Blast from the Past today over in Okaloosa County on a farm tour.
So great seeing my old colleague @MbBarrows today in Baker, Florida.
When I was serving as then Senator Rubio’s Capital Area Regional Director, MB was the Director for the NW portion of the state.
She’s since moved on to Congressman Jimmy Patronis’s office as his District Director.
A dedicated public servant and strong advocate for the people and communities of Northwest Florida!
Appreciated the opportunity to host @epaleezeldin and the @EPA team today in Pompano Beach for an important roundtable discussion on the future of agriculture and regulatory policy.
Our conversation focused on the importance of crop protection tools, emerging citrus rootstock technologies helping strengthen Florida’s citrus industry, and recent EPA actions to address costly DEF system requirements and diesel equipment derates that have impacted farmers, ranchers, and rural businesses across the country.
Florida agriculture depends on practical, science-based policies that keep producers productive, competitive, and moving forward.
Thank you to Administrator Zeldin for taking the time to hear directly from Florida agriculture!
Great to host @ChairmanSelig@MichaelSelig in Florida today for an up-close look at the producers and commodities that help feed and fuel America.
As Chairman of the @CFTC, Selig oversees the federal agency responsible for regulating U.S. futures, derivatives, and commodities markets — critical tools that help farmers and ranchers manage risk and navigate market volatility.
Today’s tour included visits to U.S. Sugar in Clewiston and Joe Hilliard’s cattle operation, where discussions focused on the importance of strong risk management tools, market stability, and policies that support American agriculture.
And as an added bonus, Chairman Selig is also a proud @FloridaState graduate. Always good to have another Seminole in farm country. 🌾🐄
We appreciate Chairman Selig and his staff for taking the time to hear directly from Florida producers about the real-world challenges and opportunities facing agriculture today.
Great to be in my home state of Florida, which is the largest producer of sugarcane in the US. I met with sugar producers and refiners to discuss how they use our markets to hedge risk. At the @CFTC, we regulate the world’s derivatives markets by listening and learning from our farmers and end users who rely on them every day.
Strong and timely discussion today in Tampa on counterintelligence threats from the Chinese Communist Party and the risks they pose to American agriculture.
I appreciated the leadership and sharp insights from @RepRickCrawford and @RepGregSteube along with key officials from the FBI, CIA, DHS, and NSC.
We had a substantive conversation on agricultural biosecurity and supply chain vulnerabilities — two critical areas where national security and the strength of our food system intersect.
Grateful to the @USouthFlorida for hosting this important briefing and to the @HouseIntel for the invitation!
Protecting American agriculture is protecting America.
Farm Bill Update📣
"The House's passage of the Farm Bill is an important step forward for agriculture and rural communities across the country. Florida Farm Bureau is grateful for our members who made their Voices heard and to those in the Florida delegation for delivering a bill that reflects the needs of America's farmers and ranchers. We urge the Senate to move quickly to get the legislation across the finish line," said Florida Farm Bureau Federation President Jeb S. Smith.
The Farm Bill’s impact extends well beyond the farm by protecting our nation’s food supply and advancing conservation and innovation through agricultural research.
@epaleezeldin@rosadelauro Be fair.
It's hard for Ms Delauro to read federal statutes and know Supreme Court precedents since she has to spend most of her time trying to find ways to lure Hansel and Gretel to her gingerbread house.
Appreciate the team at Great Mark Western for hosting a strong livestock handling safety demonstration and for their hospitality throughout the day. Seeing best practices up close—especially when it comes to safety is always time well spent.
Grateful as well to one of our FFBF State Directors, Pat Durden, for coordinating a great event.
I also had the opportunity to join a “fireside chat” with our State Legislative Director Tripp Hunter and State Reps. Gallop Franklin (D) and Chad Johnson (R). We had a productive discussion on state policy priorities and I was glad to provide a brief update from Washington.
It was a solid example of the kind of bipartisan dialogue that continues to move agriculture forward—bringing together different perspectives with a shared focus on supporting our farmers and ranchers.
And for the record, a “fireside chat” in April in Florida is more about the conversation than the fire. 🔥🌴
