36th Inter-Guild Council | A Critical Question
@PNyamutoro ,As a former Youth MP and Guild leader, you were our primary voice in Parliament. Now, as Minister, your docket is aggressively enforcing strict licensing rules and threatening to shut down non-compliant artisanal mines which are not bad but the high cost of environmental assessments and bureaucratic red tape is actively locking young locals out of their own country's wealth. Are you still representing the interests of the youth, or has your office become an enforcer for foreign mining corporations?" @Mwijukyeivan

@Malaikagashumba@robrjk@FrankGashumba Exactly! ๐ When the discussion is about fake pastors, address the allegations instead of dragging Jesus into a personal family dispute. Questioning people who claim to represent God is not the same as mocking God. Facts first, family loyalty second, theology last. ๐๐ฅ
@GoonerForLife16@RubabindaJr@BalaamBarugahar@CHRISBARYOMUNS1@DianaAtwine@TheUMAofficial Sentimental? No, just allergic to empty PR disguised as โdoing more.โ If they do so much, nobody asked for a daily press conference just donโt lecture others about having โsomething tangibleโ while defending people whose achievements apparently need to remain a state secret. ๐
This afternoon, I had a thought-provoking engagement with Hon. Lydia Wanyoto, Minister of State for Public Service, on the role of young people in serving our country with patriotism, integrity, and a genuine commitment to the public good.
One powerful truth stood out: Uganda does not need a generation that only fights for political victories; it needs a generation prepared to turn its convictions into meaningful service to the people.
Your political affiliation should never become a barrier to your contribution to national development. Whether we agree or disagree politically, our communities still need solutions, our institutions need integrity, and our people deserve competent and selfless public servants.
To the young people of Uganda: do not allow political differences to kill your patriotism, divide your purpose, or silence your potential. You can belong to different political camps and still share one national responsibility to serve humanity, transform communities, and build a better Uganda.
The future is not secured by the politics we play, but by the lives we improve.
