It's live!
#DáithísLaw has now come into effect to help save more lives💗
It means all adults will now be considered as a potential organ donor when they die, unless they choose to opt out.
Whatever your decision please #HaveTheChat with loved ones.

As #Braintumourawarenessmonth 2022 ends with another tragic loss of a shining star within our community, we'd like to thank and recognise every patient, family, individual & organisation fighting for the changes needed to improve the lives of people with brain cancer.
My proudest achievement in my role as Clinical Lead for Organ Donation for Milton Keynes University Hospital has been completed today:
A new artwork celebrating the “gift of life” & commemorating local people who have donated their organs - now with the piano 🎹
Looking for some ICM consultants to join our team @GWH_NHS - its a lovely place to live and work. Great trainees from Severn and Oxford. Superb nurses and AHPs. New IT system being installed. Amazing consultant colleagues. I'm happy to field questions

Help find Eeyore!
Eeyore was lost on West Argyle Street in Ullapool (west of Ceilidh Place) this afternoon and owner is very upset and would appreciate his return. Can anyone help?
My son Tom’s decision to sign the OD register helped us as a family consent to him saving & improving the lives of up to 50 people. Talk about it & ‘Leave them Certain’ and like Tom give the gift of life. #leavethemcertain@DonorFamilyNetw@NHSBT
“She’s keeping three people alive at the moment: her heart, her kidneys and her liver”.
Liam Neeson found comfort in his decision to donate his wife, Natasha Richardson’s organs.
Please #ShareYourWishes about your #Organ Donation decisions with your loved ones ❤
Each time you meet another person you might catch COVID. You might be fine but you could get critically ill or die. If they are ill they probably have COVID. Definitely don't meet them then. If you are a bit overweight or take a tablet or inhaler you have a pre-existing condition
Next week in the U.K. is #OrganDonationWeek. For us Organ Donation Week is every week as we encourage people to talk about #organdonation. However we will be launching an exciting campaign to encourage more people to have the lifesaving conversation

Today is #WorldOrganDonation Day.
We thank organ donors everywhere. Without living donors, donors & courageous donor families agreeing lives would not, & will not be saved, so we thank you for your strength.Thank you if you have already agreed to #organdonation. Have you?
