The first time I ever tried to share my faith, I was convinced it was going to be a disaster. I thought I’d get tongue-tied, misquote a Bible or simply not have the answer if they asked me the simplest of questions.
But to my surprise… it actually worked! Instead of failing, I succeeded. (Trust me, no one was more shocked than I was—except maybe the person who prayed with me.)

I learned something important that day: sharing your faith isn’t as hard as we make it out to be. You don’t need a theology degree or a booming voice with an organ playing in the background. You just need a willing heart and a simple message.

Proverbs 11:30 says, “He who wins souls is wise.” That means you don’t need to be brilliant—you just need to care enough to speak up.

Have you ever had the privilege of actually praying with someone to accept Christ? If you haven’t yet—don’t worry. You can. You might be just one conversation away from the most rewarding moment of your life.

Here’s the story of my first attempt—at the ripe old age of 17, full of nerves, doubt, and a Gospel tract that probably still had pizza sauce on it.
