@trygraptor@horrorbiwriter Whenever the movie opens up to 1.43:1, it stretches the image to span the dome. So Paul & Jessica meeting sandworm for the first-time is more wonky than anything else! LOL
@RalabDnana@YOULIKEMYPACE@worldofreel Like the The Social Network? Another one based on a dramatized reallife event. Also, Gerwig's Little Women. I found them more compelling in non-linear storyline. Didn't Nolan site JFK film?
@JavierAIfonso @Luiz_Fernando_J Barbie wasn't shown in any premium theaters. All premium theaters went to Oppy. Given there's only limited premium theaters, when a movie demands to be watched in them, people buy tickets for whenever there's an opening. PVOD release should be held back and have its momment.
@GSerbin_25@thebloodytitan@cornerstcre@CultureCrave In the film, you see once the hooks are in place, some sensitive organs get exposed to the sand, hence the irritation and worm keeping itself above the sandcloud. Loved how everything is shown in visuals and sound design, but not with choppy dialogue.
@BostonGlobeArts How I can apply for this person's job? LOL
Given that the person failed to understand a film made for the general public (PG13), I'm not sure if any of the reviews past/future can be taken seriously.
@JohnnySobczak This is really sad. Part 1 was the film that got me into the world of sound design (their discussions were amazing). Given how integral they are to team Denis and his artistry, I hope this is not due to a comp issue.
@DuneInfo@PremiereFR He should've shaved. It's obvious it's a bald cap. We'll see how much that will take the viewer out of the film when it's out.
It's kind of sad given how much effort the production design, VFX, costuming, art direction, etc.. have gone to make the world feel real.
@homogenouspaste @artwithinpod Awe, now imagine having had a summer filled with many gorgeous jaw droping days, but you declaring only one day was gorgeous! LOL
People would definitely ask if you've only seen this one day out of the year? It's just a natural curiosity with some concern, of course! LOL
@GouravMav@JoeMightLikeTV@Aniketman I just looked at the market distribution, and those aren't its major winners, and WB/Mattel probably knew that. Anyway, just to reiterate, it is not a simultaneous release, especially when it's still opening and will never in many.
