ராமேஸ்வரம் முதல் சென்னை வரை 604 கிலோமீட்டர் தூரத்தை, மதியிறுக்கம் (Autism) கொண்ட மாற்றுத்திறன் வீரர் – வீராங்கனையர் 15 பேர், கடல் வழியே 11 நாட்களில் நீந்திக் கடந்து சாதனை படைத்துள்ளனர்.

இந்தத் துணிச்சல்மிகு சாகசப் பயணத்தை வெற்றிகரமாக நிறைவு செய்த அவ்வீரர் – வீராங்கனையரையும் – அவர்களின் சாதனைக்குத் துணை நின்ற பெற்றோர்கள் – பயிற்சியாளர்களையும் இன்று நேரில் சந்தித்து வாழ்த்தி மகிழ்ந்தோம்.

அவர்களுக்கு நினைவுப்பரிசுகளை வழங்கி, மென்மேலும் சாதனைகளைப் படைத்திடப் பாராட்டினோம்.

Extending my heartfelt appreciation to the 15 children with Special Needs who have achieved a truly unique feat-completing the longest sea swimming expedition, covering 604 km from Rameswaram to Chennai in just 11 days. Their accomplishment is now certified by the World Record Union, a testament to their extraordinary determination and spirit. They have shown that no limitation is impossible with the right will and guidance.

Kudos to the coaches who have shown unwavering dedication in training these young swimmers, helping them build endurance and resilience. And to the parents for their unwavering encouragement and support, the backbone of this journey.
