@thought_less_@HunterBiden@Suzierizzo1 Fine, I will rephrase. Within the state of California there are senior middle class plumbers with 10,000x the wealth as people who live in Section 8 housing. Tell me, should the plumbers give up their wealth because poorer people exist?
@TheScelata@thought_less_@HunterBiden@Suzierizzo1 They already have been raised, and are progressive, and starvation no longer exists in first world countries (food surplus), food stamps are handed out and very cheap housing already exists. Public schools are free, water is nearly free. What else is there?

@mattshumer_ Why are you worried? This has existed for millennia. Every single dare or bet you've ever received or given is the same as this app.
It's like saying craigslist is dangerous because it increases the network radius of buying/selling stuff.
The Left is bandwagonning on @HunterBiden because he's "cool" and "witty," which he is.
But he's also wrong. Many of his anti-establishment ideas are the same Democrat/Leftist slop pushed for the last 2 decades. In the arena, his ideas will crumble, just as they did for Hilary Clinton and his father.

@HunterBiden@Suzierizzo1 I'm sorry Hunter but this is lazy thinking. Compared to rural Africans, a working class American with a 401k lives like a King. Does that mean Americans should be forced to give up their wealth?
Principles must be applied to every situation, not ones convenient to you.
Thank you for posting this eternal truth.
I am 75% of the tall, wealthy, successful jock you described. Only after experiencing career adversity and a couple crash-outs did I understand the value of pain, and my pain clearly was less severe than yours.
The next question becomes "How do we pass on this mindset to the next generation?" It's difficult because it's a mindset earned through experience, not words. I don't really know how best to teach this...
When my children reach their teen years, I plan on exposing them to tougher and tougher challenges. And I don't mean longer school essays... I want to literally start throwing them into deeper and deeper ends of the pool.
@jakozloski There is no easy solution to this problem. If gay men instead chose to socialize with women, they could only do so with single straight women or lesbians. Married straight women want to talk about kids and family (among other things) that gay men cannot relate to.
