There is global consensus on the mismatch between the demands of the tourism industry and the graduates supplied by the learning institutions. In the last few decades there has been an increase in employers providing education to employees specific to their operations to bridge the knowledge and skills gaps. The significant costs of educating employees have become a burden for employers and as such affecting the overall development of the industry.
