@streetziam @DiscussingFilm yeah but at least Johnny Cage could fight, what martial arts training has Karl Urban has done? They could've at least got Van Damme to play Cage, since Cage is based on Van Damme & knows martial arts or maybe even Scott Adkins who literally is a B movie martial arts action star

@RainingCloud___ @DoonAbner I feel u on that Director Mamoru Oshii is known for doing these hyper philosophical & artsy films, hence why even GITS took such a different path compared to the manga, had to watch an explainer video afterwards to understand what was going on in Red Spectacles

[Virtual_Possum @waylon_wesley]

@spiderking232 @RainingCloud___ I think Jin Roh is first, then it's Stray Dog & then the Red Spectacles, however fair warning that RS & SD are a little weird & very art noveau films since that is Director Mamoru Oshii's style of filmmaking so don't go into it expecting live action Jin Roh

[Virtual_Possum @waylon_wesley]

@Waifu_Empress well....for my first wish....a grilled cheese sandwich would be pretty awesome

@animeupdates For all the fake fans crying over it, while I love the 1995 film, the only reason it's so deeply philosophical is cuz that is director Mamoru Oshii's filmmaking style which features in all his movies, go & watch the Kerberos Panzer Cops films & you'll see similar themes
