Genuinely don’t know how to feel about Crystalized

It started off so strong and yet the ending was so… uninspiring.

At least Ninjago got a “conclusion,” but it didn’t really make me feel energized or satisfied; I expected better.

I’ll certainly give it a rewatch, but for now:

I hope you’ve enjoyed reading my Ninjago retrospectives/rants! Watching the show again re-energized my love for it.

I will review Crystalized when the rest of the season releases next week, but after that, I must return to my home country of Instagram and finish my own story…

Regardless of what happens in the future, Seabound will always be an absolutely fantastic season and one of my personal favorites.

I think its ending may arguably be Ninjago’s most mature and powerful moment, but time will tell…

Ah, Seabound.

Beautiful, beautiful season; one of the absolute best.

It starts off kind of slow and goofy but slowly crescendoes into something so much deeper and more powerful, ultimately culminating in what is perhaps the series’ most heartbreaking and bittersweet moment.

I’m not complaining that Nya’s back and honestly, the writers were in-between a rock and a hard place, especially since Ninjago is ultimately a kids show.

I just can’t help but feel that perhaps… Nya’s sacrifice should have been fully permanent, at least for a longer time.
