@HanaHoops My prediction is slightly better, and given that game 1 and 2 weren’t as bad as game 3 my thought is game 4 is a lock as long as we show up and play our game. No more bonehead turnovers neither
So what you’re telling me is someone could walk up behind Wemby tomorrow and do the same exact thing he did to Brunson to him and it would be a common foul?
@Rishibets I’m crying castle does this intentionally because he’s a flopper. Notice how he’s never genuinely injured? Camera always cuts to him a few seconds later smiling and cracking jokes? 😂😂
If you already have 2 points for a flagrant 2 against Naz Reid and you should have:
- 2 more for a headlock on Alvarado
- 2 more for throwing Brunson by the back of his neck
- and 1 more for a reckless close out
Maybe you’re just a scumbag? 7 points! Kick him off the tour Doug!
Total number of free-throw attempts through the first three games of the NBA Finals.
San Antonio: 84
New York: 61
This despite the Knicks averaging more drives per game (54 vs. 52) and more shots in the paint (non-restricted area).
The Spurs' 155 drives have led to 22 FT attempts.
The Knicks' 162 drives have led to 6 FT attempts
@_nydyl I believe we can win despite the refs that’s what’s so awesome. Give them double free throws through a playoff series and we will win it in 6. These dudes are spent sloppy slobbish sallies.
If you take away hack a Mitch spurs have shot 33 more free throws than us in 3 games
I don’t like blaming refs. I never do it. I’m just asking for a fair shot at this thing that’s it.
Knicks fault:
Sloppy turnovers
Late/slow defensive rotations
Poor 3 point shooting
“Stand around” offense
Not Knicks fault:
Brunson “flagrant”
Wembanyama missed flagrant
6 men on the floor missed technical
Knicks have to use both challenges and can’t challenge anything else
How did I not realize this?? Can it get more obvious?
The blatant miss call on Jose in game 2 & JB in game 3 were clear flagrants that weren’t even called a common foul. If they were called the Knicks would ask for review leading to a flagrant meaning a 1 game suspension.
Wemby easily could have been ejected from both games 2 and 3 and yet not a single one of any of the 4 clear technicals/flagrants have even been called a common foul
Game 1 officiating was bad but not egregious.
Game 2 the league ABSOLUTELY NEEDED a 1-1 series so the officiating got significantly worse yet the Knicks managed to win.
So then game 3 somehow the officiating got even worse bc there was no way Silver could afford a 3-0 series
