@Klaus_Arminius No one should experience this from anyone. But this story suddenly becomes less credible when the lady says she's able to spot someone's immigrant status just by looking at them.
๐ฃ๏ธ'Having worked as a doctor in both NHS Scotland and NHS England, I can tell you I would much rather be a patient in Scotland'
@danielgoyal: I'm a leading doctor in Scotland โ I trust the SNP on the NHS, not Labour

#c4nhsdebate Dispatches' findings are thankfully not typical across all the NHS (yet). However, punishment of the journalist as a staff member might be. NHS staff must feel safe speaking out about the risk of things going wrong.
@Ianblackford_MP Sorry Ian, I've supported and respected your views in the past but on this occasion, I fear you are mistaken. We've placed sanctions on Russia for their behaviour. Here we have an impoverished country trying 2 do what they can to end genocide in Gaza. I don't agree with their 1/2
@WalterWhite444 Please don't be from scotland. Irrespective of ones political beliefs (which we are all entitled to hold), the racism in these postings is disturbing.
A few weeks ago I had a frightening time with some migrants. They took me into a theatre, one of them administered drops to freeze my eye, one of them plunged instruments into my eye and whirled them around whilst I watched, helpless, and one of them held my hand during the whole 90 minutes whilst they saved my vision. Bastards! Rwanda isn't good enough for these people.
Today, 500 Jews were arrested and 10k took to the streets to support and to demand a ceasefire and an end to Palestinian genocide.
We shut down congress to draw mass attention to the U.S. complicity in Israel's ongoing oppression of Palestinians. But our work isn't done. ๐งต
U know whatโs insane is how the western public consciousness would mobilise if this was 2.2 million golden retrievers being bombed to extinction in an inescapable cageโฆ
Roussinos offers one of the most compelling analyses of the impossible Palestine:Israel problem that I've read for a long time. I hope he's right because to my mind, from UN resolution 181 to the Balfour Declaration, Britain is mired in it.
"Hemmed in by past political failures, all that Britain can do is ensure that the coming bloodshed will not reach our streets."
And what @arisroussinos writes about Britain here is, in great part, also true for Europe.

As someone who supports the Palestinian quest for freedom & an end to illegal Israeli occupation, I unequivocally condemn the Hamas terrorist attacks on Israel. My heart bleeds for those Israeli & Palestinian civilians hurt. Escalation of hostilities is not right.
@scotrail please improve customer comms. I heard there was a signal problem at arbroath. I checked your website. It wouldn't affect my travel from Kintore to Perth. I get to Aberdeen and the connecting train to glasgow is cancelled. Poor communications cost time, money & goodwill
This is a great metaphor:
Religions can mutate into parasitic versions infecting the brain of hosts causing 'magical thinking' cognitive impairment. https://t.co/haCgMVyXWJ
#LUCYLETBY My first thoughts are for the families of those poor babies RIP.
#HelenWhately Let's not hear the usual gov 'lessons must be learned' yada yada. When you run services on a shoestring, things go wrong and allows those rare bad-actors to operate with impunity.
I'm often quick to critisize big corporations for their behaviours but in this occasion i commend @unitedutilities for their decision to end grouse shooting on their land. Well done. #GloriousTwelfth
