@tonytardio 100% correct Tony. I was an apprentice there in 1989 and was told I would not have a job when I finished because the SEC was being privatised. Cain/Kirner were the Labor leaders of the day
@TimRichardsonMP That’s nice pity the government doesn’t have the same enthusiasm to deliver the new West Gippsland Hospital that was meant to start in 2023
@TimRichardsonMP Mmmm disagree. Not one new government primary or secondary built in my electorate in over 50 years and the new hospital which was meant to start in 2023 well now they’re ready to cut for hay. Oh sorry I get it now you mean in Labor seats. My apologies
@3AW693 No surprise, the argument is just another stupid excuse from the CFMEU on delaying projects. Everyone knows carpet is not allowed in first aid rooms. When is someone going to clean this crap up. Victorians are sick of being held to ransom by this union
So if your in your 20s now and retire in 40 yrs time 3 million will be worth about 1 million. The fact that the legislation is not linked to CPI or inflation is problematic. Then factor in unrealised gains it doesn’t stack up. God knows how much things will cost in 40 years time I just can’t fathom how our younger ones today will survive based on those factors alone. It’s not a well thought out policy.
@SimoLove So the guy that stuffed Covid, didn’t deliver the Comm Games, missed housing targets is now in charge of Transport Infrastructure. My goodness do we always reward mediocrity
