One of the great power imbalances between conservatives and Leftists is the fact that our religion is religion, while their religion masquerades as politics.
As such, we are governed by SCOTUS-determined “separation of church and state” and the Leftists are not.
Case in point: “Pride Month.”
This is a month-long celebration of the Left’s religion, but because it is not treated as a religion, federal/state/local governments everywhere can indulge in it.
However, if we were to try and have governments celebrating “Jesus Month,” the lawsuits would be so thick you couldn’t cut through them with a rainbow chainsaw.
I’m not sure how to solve this.
Just do stuff.
Elon’s “crime” is success.
There are people who get what they want by complaining about the successes of other people, and then there are people who just do stuff.
Movement creates friction. Don’t let that stop you.
Just do stuff.
Israels GDP is 540 billion dollars.
If you think our 3.8 billion dollars of aide, of which 3.2 billion is spent towards our GDP in American factories by American weapons, is us supporting their way of life you must have taken 17 booster shots.
No one can be that dumb.
@ByEddieFerns@KonstantinKisin So the day you got your 1st raise, your 1st promotion, or found a better job (you began to get wealthier) you began screwing someone who was poorer? With this logic you must hate everyone who makes a cent more than you and feel guilty when you make more. That must suck...
And good for her... now if she could just keep her envious eyes off of other people's income. It's something we ought to have learned early in our work experiences. There's always somebody making less than you (maybe you before you advanced) that's looking at your wages with envy.
Elizabeth Warren is so rich that she can live off the “interest of her interest.”
She’s worth over $10,000,000.
Market returns are so high that she can borrow against her portfolio (SBLOC), never sell stock, and make more profit via the market than the carry cost of the loan.
@grahamformaine If I didn't know anything else about you... this alone would convince me that you're unfit for any public office. Playing to people's envy and covetousness is vile.
@SenWarren I've been a middle-class worker (factory worker, maintenance man, parts assembly, etc) for 50 years and by the grace of God have never felt the need to be covetous of other people's wealth whether they were mill-, bill-, or trillionaires. Why should I & why do you encourage that?
If you want to understand our day, you must understand the ancient term misology.
Misology is the hatred or distrust of reason, logic, and rational argument. It is the tendency to reject careful thinking and treat truth claims as matters of emotion, power, or personal preference rather than evidence and sound reasoning.
@BasedMikeLee Senator Lee, I'm a Christian (the non-LDS variety), a Trump supporter, and would have voted for you if I lived in Utah. But have you seen the "Christian" frauds and charlatans he surrounds himself with? You and Glenn ought not look to DJT for affirmation, it beclowns you both.
I love that moment when kids realize that they said something really funny and they get all proud and start laughing along themselves. It’s the cutest.
I was raised Mormon and it took me a long time to understand how fundamentally different it is from historic Christianity. Even as recently as 3 years ago, I didn't get why it was a big deal that we didn't believe in the Trinity
Mormon theology does not present God as an "uncaused cause", existence itself, the "Logos". In Mormonism, God *is* a "man in the sky", a created being, someone who was once human but is now exalted within our known universe. This opens up a lot of problems imo. For example: what happens when death and evil are overcome on our planet, and you reach exaltation? You are now a God of a new universe/planet to create a new race of humanity and evil arises all over again and the drama continues into eternity? There is no message of the ultimate overcoming of death/evil as in historic Christianity
In all my childhood and young adult instruction in the LDS church, I never learned that Jesus was "God in the flesh" or anything like that. Jesus really was taught as a distinct BEING from God the Father (who again... Is a *created being*). It is a fundamentally different Christ that is believed and worshipped.
Hello Mr. Hunter Biden,
You're getting six-digit likes on every post lately. I don't have any hope to ratio you or whatever through traditional "Hello" means.
But for those uninitiated, those who are captivated by your fake-humble persona obviously PR-engineered to capture unsuspecting disaffected Republicans:
You are not some humility, witty guy turning over a new leaf. You are the ultimate proof of nepotism, everything that the so-called "Epstein Class" is supposed to represent.
Let me explain - off the top of my head.
You were a board member of USGLC. U.S. Global Leadership Coalition. The most powerful NGO that nobody's ever heard of. Last year, I documented in several threads, how Liz Schrayer, USGLC lead, took credit for ramming through a 90 billion dollar bill for Ukraine in 2024, even as @mattvanswol demonstrated that Western North Carolina got zero help in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene because FEMA threw up their hands and said they ran out of funds.
USGLC, arguably, is the most powerful NGO that nobody has ever heard of. It includes a bunch of corporations, a bunch of nonprofit leads, and ... for some magical reason, I documented, extensively, linked, that Liz Schrayer started pursuing you in 2012. During the Obama years, when you were Biden's son. Are you a former Secretary of State? No. Are you a CEO of a Fortune 500 company? No. That puts you below the average USGLC board member, by a good tier.
So what DID get you on USGLC? The only reason: that you were the son of a sitting Vice President known for corruption, and you yourself were known for corruption.
You are not "folksy." You are the worst of the worst of the elite. Most of the elite, at least, get their credentials through Georgetown/George Washington/Harvard Kennedy. You got yours purely on nepotism. Any photographs you have of yourself at motels is proof that you are so incompetent that you waste all your money, not that you come from humble beginnings. Because others like @MarcoPolo501c3 have thoroughly documented that you benefited a great deal from your nepotism.
You even tried to bait those in with saying you prefer to keep immigration "legal" - but we all know the trap that keeps illegal immgrants here: outlaw deportations, and make every immigrant case "asylum", and magically, everyone who might've been here illegally a few years ago is legal.
You may get 175K likes on your semi-subverting, PR-designed photographs. But those of us who know, know you're fake.

@BasedMikeLee@BasedMikeLee honest question: Why does the Church of Latter Day Saints send missionaries to Christian homes? I mean if we're Christian and they're Christian... what's the deal with missionaries from Christians to Christians? It's a head scratcher as the least.
