A very aggressive hit piece on me has just been published in the Daily Telegraph by Allister Heath - labelling me ‘a deluded egotist who is toxifying British politics.’
He gives three examples of why he is so horrified by Restore Britain’s presence.
Number one. The fact I stated my concern around projections that ‘white Britons will become a minority by 2063’.
No statistic greater demonstrates the astounding way mass immigration is changing our country. He calls Restore Britain’s worry around this ‘racism’ and ‘disgusting’.
It should have ‘no place in mainstream politics’.
It’s that attitude which has allowed our communities to transform in front of our very eyes over the last few decades.
It’s not going to work on me.
This brings us on to his second point.
The fact that I highlight how parts of Manchester have essentially been colonised by Islamic populations.
YES.
I stand by every single word.
Communities in places like Rochdale, Oldham, entire districts in Manchester itself.
Replaced. Of course this has happened. My advice to the journalist is this - go and visit, use your eyes.
I did exactly that, and it shocked me.
There is no multiculturalism. There is one culture. One religion. One way of life.
Islam.
I make no apologies for my views on that, and Restore Britain’s efforts to change it.
His third concern? Incredibly…
The fact that Restore Britain has banning halal and kosher slaughter as a policy.
He is offended by my description - ‘barbaric foreign practices that have no place in our high-trust society’.
He calls it ‘despicable’, and it puts me ‘beyond the pale’.
He states that banning halal ‘would trigger a civil war’…
Does that not prove my earlier point correct?
Whatever.
I don’t want millions and millions and millions of animals to be brutally butchered and left to bleed from the neck in the most unimaginable pain. Does that make me ‘despicable’? I think not.
I am a British farmer. In this country, we care for our animals properly. I don’t care if that offends certain religions, I really don’t.
He also takes issue with me labelling cousin marriage non-British. Seriously?
If you are a Telegraph subscriber and you disagree, I suggest you let the paper know. They think your concerns around Halal slaughter are ‘despicable’ or that if you’re worried about parts of Britain becoming mainly Islamic that view is ‘foul’.
If you’re reading this, agreeing with what I’m saying, then join us.
Join Restore Britain.
Let’s get our country back.
When you consider that we have an illegitimate, unelected PM, who spent his entire first two weeks in office making TikTok videos and has now decided he needs a holiday, it starts to become very obvious why this country is in the toilet.
North Bridge is fully open! Huge thanks to everyone involved in the mammoth repair job to get it reopened in both directions.
There is no one alive today who can remember a time when North Bridge was roadworks-free.
🚨NEWS: Rupert Lowe has become the first Member of Parliament since Enoch Powell to say in public that the indigenous White British population must never become a minority in their own country
"Turn Up the Sun" signalled how much Oasis had changed by 2005. Written by Andy Bell rather than Noel Gallagher, it was chosen to open Don't Believe the Truth and became the band's dramatic entrance music on the tour that followed. This Manchester performance captures Oasis opening a new era with one of the strongest contributions from outside the Gallagher brothers.
If Reform accepted Rupert's offer and made him Treasury Spokesman at Conference, they would have a Chancellor-in-waiting sat on the Public Accounts Committee.
Something to think about.
This is the work of nationalists. This is why it's so important to be physically present in the big tent. Without us here, this policy holds no weight and doesn't get pushed forward.
Securing the future of our people is all that matters.
This puts @reformparty_uk in a position of, agreeing with Rupert and attempting to bury the hatchet, or not agreeing and showing it’s membership that the five principles highlighted are too strong for them.
I wonder how many Reform UK members, disagree with the five principles?
Not many I’d argue.
Over to you Nigel…
The Greater Manchester result showed what Restore Britain can deliver.
The next step is how we maximise the chances of delivering the change Britain needs - it means putting personal differences aside.
That is why today I am making a public offer to Nigel Farage and Reform UK.
