@su4eranio@lakers2306 It would have been harsh sacking him in August. But not in November/December when it became obvious we were going to struggle all season due to our set up and inability to even look capable of competing away from home
@lakers2306@Marsha1051@su4eranio It’s not missing the point, it’s fair to acknowledge that the club as a whole was far too slow effecting this change, and even now that inertia may end up with us relegated. A lot of people got a lot of stick for wanting Warne out earlier, they’ve every right to say I told you so
@su4eranio@lakers2306 It’s not hindsight. It was obvious from the off he couldn’t set a team up to win away in this league. His CV told that story. Many of the few wins we had were desperate affairs. All that was in plain sight from August onwards
@Pat00758889Pat@redfern_i_j@rigg0o I’d take 4th bottom now. Not at the outset though. That’s it’s come to this is an absolute embarrassment for this club. We should expect much better
@Pat00758889Pat@redfern_i_j@rigg0o That Oxford and Pompey would have hoped for similar, as though that makes it all okay. They’ve achieved it, we haven’t. We’re bottom and that’s where we’ll finish, Pat
@herge88@woodwardio79 It’s excessive patience that’s cost us. New manager has been brought in two months too late. 3 wins in 26 since mid October. Rowett hanging around till late December till eventually taking the Oxford job. It’s not more patience we need, it’s the correct amount of patience
@redfern_i_j@dcfccollection England was full of them too until other teams signed them up over the past few weeks while we collectively sat on our hands.
