I had a similar story in Japan. I left my backpack in the Uber/Taxi at Tokyo Station. While I'm standing there trying to get ahold of someone at Uber to try and track down the driver, the sweaty, out of breath driver runs up to me having parked and ran through the station looking for me. It had my Macbook and a few other things in it and he wouldn't even let me give him cash for his trouble (although I tipped him through the app later). I'll never forget that or that driver.
