Make sure you have a private life. Every so often, do something no one knows about.

Go see a movie alone and don’t tell anyone. Press a flower in a book and tell no one. Drive to the neighboring town, walk around, and come back, and don’t tell anyone where you were all day.

It will feed you.

@workingsanford @emzanotti I write checks all the time, mostly for school fundraisers and such. Cash doesn't leave a paper trail, and kids selling laundry soap and popcorn don't take debit cards.

@klhicks912 I never outlined because I hated outlining, and I ended up with 4 unfinished first drafts. I outlined #5, and now I have a finished first draft. 🤷🏻‍♀️

2 1/2 weeks spent constantly bottle-feeding kittens. The black one is Bagheera. The white one was sickly & I nursed him thru it like my own child. He still needs a real name. 🥹
