@itsD3lay We use PEMDAS. In a equation like this we multiple the x first. so in the first one its 100 + (300 x 2). 300 x 2 is 600 then you add from there. Which is 100 + 600 = 700

Same thing with the other 300 + (100 x 2). 100 x 2 is 200 so we add from there 300 + 200 = 500
