I don’t see the point of these ref shows unless everyone is going to be honest. Bothroyd is right. Gallagher can’t keep defending the indefensible & he’s not the only one. Call it - or call time on it.

We’re now in the 8th season of VAR in the PL.

It’s long past the point of teething problems - a significant change to the game which came with sacrifices - that ultimately had to deliver a net benefit to justify its existence.

And whilst there are instances of it working well, I believe it takes more away from the game and the fan experience than it gives - and when you boil it all down, it’s as simple as that
