A former Taliban minister has claimed that Imran Khan was a better option as Prime Minister of Pakistan for Afghanistan, arguing that his ideology and previous commitments would have been more favorable to Afghanistan’s interests.

The former minister further claimed that Imran Khan could have been more helpful in advancing Afghanistan’s objective of a “Greater Afghanistan,” a concept that includes parts of present-day Pakistan, particularly Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).

According to the former minister, Imran Khan had previously assured Afghan representatives that he would support their objectives, suggesting that his government would have been more aligned with their interests.
