@RogueOtters Fantasy isn’t my genre, I knew that already, but I was willing to try LotR. So many folks love it and it was such a blind spot for me. I’m pretty sure I’ll still try the movie(s) at some point too

I really tried hard to immerse myself in this world and enjoy it, but I didn’t end up there. It was fine, I guess. The ending didn’t make me want to pick up the next book right away, I think I’m done after the first one. Maybe I’ll try the movies, but I don’t know. I’m undecided

I am a little over four hours into my LotR audiobook after getting it from the library this morning. I can’t say I all caps LOVE it so far, but it’s pretty enjoyable. I definitely am going to continue listening
