@frank_seravalli Master class by Buffalo with this trade, as Byram wanted out, they already have one of the youngest set of D in the league and now potentially get Stenberg. I’m not sure my Chicago decided to throw away the chance to give Bedard his setup guy for the next 10 years!
@Banx_Leaf Why do I keep seeing the uninspired suggestion of Marchment as 1LW? Slow, mediocre talent and soft for his size - not a good fit, nor worth the expected cost - we can do better.
@kaiseninvest In and out - volatility will create amazing opportunities for quick wins before earnings, after which we can expect a brief sell-off from profit-takers, followed by a jump to a new ATH. As there’s no doubt that they’ll crush their results.
@SportsDataQuest With Raddysh + OEL + Andrae, we don’t need Durzi. Marchment isn’t good enough to help form a dominate 1st line - we need to stop ‘supporting’ AM34 with mediocre cast-offs - he’s slow, mid talent & soft for a big guy - buyer beware.
@leafsmaxxing@SportsDataQuest I’m fine with shedding Carlo. I like Dunn - but worry about moving out more youth - a lot of our D’s success next year depends on whether Tanev can play close to 100% again.
@leafsmaxxing@SportsDataQuest His tools are more suited for a 3RW - not really a 4th line guy - tough to see how he fits in TBH. Domi’s irresponsible D play also isn’t suited for the 4th line - he’s another guy who just doesn’t fit anymore.
@leafsmaxxing@SportsDataQuest I like this a lot - although I’m not a huge fan of Lorentz or Maccelli - I think you reform you 4th line to be fast and furious - this version is undersized and won’t be a strong, intimidating forechecking line.
@bigheadhcky Bottom 6 (especially 4th line & 3C) and bottom pair need to be completely overhauled - Mo will be traded. Cowan will not be 1RW. Also, there’s no way OEL plays with Raddysh. There’s still work to be done!
@logopatt Well, because they did foolishly let him walk. Treliving had a window to trade him prior to his full NM clause kicked in & didn’t. Unless you have 100% confirmation a player is resigning, you move them to max your asset return. That mistake was an utter disaster for the Leafs.
