Mayor O'Connell and the Metro Council keep misleading you on why your property tax bill jumped. O'Connell's budget needed more revenue, so the Council voted for a rate hike that he's since branded "the lowest in Metro's history." So we built a @realpamphleteer tool that shows exactly where your increase came from.

Below is the much-publicized Acme Feed & Seed bill. Most of the jump is appraisal-driven, but the Council's rate hike alone tacked on an extra $118K.

We also have long-tail spend management goals. I still contract with asset, and will continue to seek asset on lanes that make sense, but a lot of ours do not.

@LabRatTrucker I think something is better than nothing. We ship this product from NC to Quebec, imagine the amount of buildup that accumulates. Should I push back to our commercial team and inquire about center unload? Would it be more common to have an enclosure on the center valve?

@NickMyCarGuy We have a 2023 Rouge SL AWD with 9K miles and our turning it back in December. I was holding out hope that actual value would be higher than RV with low miles but I doubt it.

@FreightAlley My colleagues in EMEA do not understand waterfall tendering. I have to explain to someone different every quarter why carriers don’t accept 100% of the freight we tender. I also said that the market would flip back in Jan 25, I was early, but not wrong.

@NickMyCarGuy Any advice on brokers for a TN resident? I’ve been leasing since 2017 and use a combo of Edmunds/LeaseHacker to get a better deal. It doesn’t appear TN is represented by brokers and I’ll be back in the market in Q4 this year.
