According to reports from UNICEF and WHO , early initiation of breastfeeding could prevent approximately 20-22% of newborn deaths. This estimate underscores the importance of breastfeeding support! Every maternity hospital must become #breastfeedingfriendlyhospitals@WHOSEARO
Young generation is demanding for breastfeeding friendly hospitals 🏥 for saving infants. Hospitals must start monitoring early breastfeeding rates & provide practical support to mothers. This can prevent 100,000 infants deaths annually in India!
