The WCLPD sends our condolences to the Englewood Cliffs Police Department for the loss of Police Capt. Keith Wicker after a courageous battle with cancer. Captain Wicker served his community with honor, dedication, and professionalism for over 25 years.
Keith's strength and resilience was unmatched in the face of a years-long fight against brain cancer and a rare form of blood cancer. Our thoughts and prayers will continue to be with his wife, their children, and all who were fortunate to have served alongside him.
Officers from the Woodcliff Lake Police Department had a great night with Valley Chabad C-Teens—games, defensive tactics, snacks, and lots of laughs!
We’re always proud to support and connect with our community. Thank you to CTeen Woodcliff Lake for having us!
The WCLPD would like to congratulate our officers on their promotions this past Weds night. Det/Sgt. Kalmbach was promoted to Lt, Sgt. Charnesky to Lt, Det. Matovski to Det/Sgt, PO. Ingoglia to Sgt, and PO Sherfer to Sgt. We wish them the best of luck in their new roles!
Today at 1:17 pm, we had a resident and their dog attacked by a coyote on Woodcrest Drive. They are ok, but please be aware of your surroundings when out with small pets.

Last week, the WCLPD was honored to host the annual Oktoberfest celebration for the Senior Association. We always look forward to this special event, where they have the opportunity to cook for our seniors and distribute raffle prizes generously donated by local businesses.
