Communism is easy to sell to an illiterate, innumerate, and historically/economically ignorant people. We need to have national PSAs for what "net worth" means.
Elon doesn’t have $1T in a bank. His net worth is from the value of his companies, which employ >160K people. He’s minted 1,000s of millionaires. Even Lee & Santino earn $ from X. 160K+ people feed their families cuz of Elon. How many lives have they supported? Brilliant comics, not so brilliant with economics.
@SCHIZO_FREQ My dad taught me young how to recognize pressure treated wood. We always picked it out of the burn pile after home renno. I'm shocked this isn't common knowledge though. Usually has that staple look. Or just green.
WOW 🚨 Los Angeles Democrats paid $100 million dollars to a private company owned by a Chinese billionaire for a homeless hotel
Democrats also agreed to pay for ALL rooms regardless if anyone was housed
The deal was so shady the Chinese billionaire fled to China when the FBI started investigating him
You’re not going to believe this, this Chinese billionaire who go this insane very obviously money laundering deal WAS A DEMOCRAT DONOR
“The city agreed to pay the owner, a company called Shenzhen New World, $154 a night for every room in the building, meals included. Not per person, per room, whether anyone was in it or not.
At one point, only 24% of the rooms were occupied. The city was paying over $600 a night per person actually housed”
- 14 rooms were taken offline for fire damage
- A school in the same building sued the city after documenting break-ins, drug paraphernalia, and human waste outside their entrance
- The city set aside $5 million just for glass repair
The owner is a Chinese billionaire named Wei Huang. $100 million to one company. He fled to China in 2018 after the FBI started investigating.
Watch @TJ_Harker on the @Liz_Wheeler show walk through how Dr. Andrew Baker's autopsy changed over time to include "Neck Compression", despite his findings that there was no damage to the neck, no signs of asphyxia, and nothing on the body that would connect Chauvin to Floyd's death.

@ManuTri72159387@ArtemisConsort You're probably a bot. But I'm sure many real people on this site share your view. If anyone sees this, I encourage you to watch the documentary Empire of Dust. Free on YT. Hunter is right.
English is incredibly rich and multidimensional, with words taken from germanic and latin (and probably more) language families. But we are impoverished. It's like a music where swaths of harmony are off limits or forgotten. We compose with too few notes.
Thomas Carlyle mentioned. His books were massively influential among the greatest of his generation (Dickens, Disraeli, Tennyson, Mill etc.). But more importantly his biggest audiences were among the working classes: masons, clerks, weavers, etc. If you find Carlyle difficult remember that British working men and women with a mere few years of schooling read and enjoyed writing at this level of literacy. Compare with any modern writing and you will see the utter destruction of the once so rich English language. The difference is not merely that of something like a foreign language.
I want to be addressed less often in life. The number of occasions for the world to go "HEY YOU LOOK AT THIS BUY THIS" is quite high. It's mildly better if they're relevant, but incentivizing more ads (because they perform) is also less than ideal. Matthew Crawford has written a great book on this.
I think I'm the only person cautiously in favor of permanent standard time, and eliminating DST entirely. I wonder how much this issue is split by parents vs singles.
@curtis_yarvin You often denigrate the notion of fundamental or inherent equality but kind of equivocate. I think it has always meant equality of moral value, rather than of capacity or societal value. "Created equal" meaning "in the eyes of God" not "In the eyes of an employer."
