@StarvelingBard I don’t think so. If we’re talking about Texit or Calexit, then I agree. If we’re talking about the US breaking into 2 or more nations, that is not a secession. “National divorce“ may not be perfect, but what it conveys as much more accurate than “secession“.

JAN 8 Reuter reports the possibility of paying the residents of Greenland to vote for secession and join US. I said same thing on Jan 5th, but was too high on the price - although it could still climb to my prediction.
