Absolutely delicious - some of the best crisps I have tasted in a long time!
Great to catch up with Karen Park, from Buston Crisps, part of the Buston Potatoes business in Parliament today, as part of a ‘Taste of the North’ event.
Farming in Northumberland the Park family grow potatoes, and now produce some of the most delicious, favour packed, mouthwatering crisps!
As a hardworking family farming business, they are proud to work with local farmshops, delis, butchers, cafes, restaurants, pubs and visitor attractions in supplying their fantastic produce.
And it doesn’t stop with crisps! - they also produce cold pressed rapeseed oil. Lovingly grown, pressed and bottled by hand on the beautiful Northumberland Coast.
We have some fantastic family farming businesses across the country who go above and beyond.
We should be incredibly proud of them - but the government must to all they can to recognise their commitment, contribution and dedication to driving forward our rural economy.
So, if you haven’t tasted Buston Crisps yet - you must! 👉 https://t.co/qOQCS3Mih5
The Labour government commits £536m in aid for overseas agriculture projects but takes £500m in a inheritance tax grab against family farmers in the UK.
Here’s a Labour MP (David Smith) calling out the Labour government on their cruel inheritance tax punishment on family farms. More Labour MPs should show more courage like this and adopt the politics of principles rather than cowardly party politics.
With just days to go before the budget, I joined our farmers from across the North East in Newcastle to rally against this Labour government’s vindictive assault on our countryside.
Together against this government we stand united.
The family farm & business tax MUST be axed.
🚜 More than 100 tractors and several hundred farmers, farming families and supporters converged on Newcastle in what grassroots campaign group Farmers Unite described as a powerful “show of strength” ahead of Wednesday’s Budget.

@kelso_farmer@XeedAg Yes, they were plotted before hand. Boundary plus obstacles. 19 years ago I put my base station in, things have moved on a bit since.
