The Indians defeated 3A #7 Northwestern 2-0.
Kenny Ayala earned the win, surrendering zero hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out eight and walking two. Lio Matamoros went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead the Indians in hits. Thompson and Matamoros each drove in one run
