Marc Cucurella has completed a permanent transfer to Spanish La Liga side Real Madrid.
Everyone at Chelsea FC would like to thank Marc for his efforts during his time at the club and for the role he played in our recent achievements.
✍️ Some fans may think Enzo Fernández is overhyped, and that’s their right. Personally, I don’t see him as a perfect footballer (he has clear limitations, particularly in terms of defensive contribution). Nor do I view him as a perfect human being.
That said, just like “Joe Cole”, I would genuinely love to see him play for Chelsea under Xabi Alonso next season, as I believe the tactical fit could bring out the best in his qualities. However, if Enzo ultimately decides that he wants to leave, then he should be allowed to do so.
This is simply my personal opinion and stance on Enzo Fernández. You’re free to disagree, but it won't change my view.

No hype. No narratives.
Just the structure underneath the market.

Every time Chelsea come up against a so-called “easy opponent,” we rotate the lineup or push players out of position, & suddenly make life hard for ourselves. Two facts:
1. We approach the game way too confident, laidback & casual, like the win’s guaranteed.
2. We’re just not at the level where we can be rotating this much. I get the whole workload management thing, but it keeps biting us every single time.
