We're a group of local people joining together to support a refugee family to restart their life in the Ormeau area, under the Community Sponsorship Scheme.

So today was the big day! We finally were able to welcome a family seeking sanctuary to Ormeau, after months of preparation, it has been wonderful to finally meet them & we look forward to supporting them to find their feet here over the coming weeks/months

After a long wait, we heard officially last week that we will finally be able to help a family fleeing conflict to live safely in Ormeau, due to arrive here in the Autumn. A busy few months of preparations ahead. Update on our #communitysponsorship journey 👇
