@flyingbeast320 Gaurav Taneja’s Labrador Mau has reportedly died, with a date around 26–27 July 2026 appearing in material circulating online.

An Instagram User and his ex employee Pushpendra Choudhary ( __pusshhhh_ ), described online as someone who had worked around Taneja’s farm/businesses, has posted claims about Mau’s final days. He alleges that Mau was seriously ill, had health/feeding problems, and did not receive adequate care.

Online posts further allege that Mau was kept at the farmhouse and suffered in very hot conditions, but these details have not been independently verified. This controversy is connected to the fact that Taneja had publicly explained in March/April 2025 that Mau had been moved from the family home to the farmhouse, citing family, lifestyle and religious considerations.

There is currently no independently established evidence proving that negligence caused Mau’s death. The Times of India also reports that the cause of death and whether anyone’s actions contributed to it remain unestablished.

I also haven’t found a detailed public response from Gaurav addressing these specific new allegations in the sources available today.
So, Pet Dog "Mau" died is being widely reported, but the ex-employee’s allegations about how/why he died should not currently be treated as confirmed facts.
